Matthew is a junior private investigator hired to spy on notorious business executive Robert Crawley in an effort to expose the corporation’s corrupt practices. Allowing himself to be seduced by Crawley’s sensually cunning daughter Mary, Matthew easily worms his way into the family’s everyday life. His formerly boring job of tailing adulterers soon turns into an exciting string of upper class family dinners, invites to expensive parties and electric escapades with Mary Crawley. But when Matthew uncovers a paper trail that leads directly to Mary, he wonders whose side anyone is really on.
It’s one of those weird relationships which does exist in real life. I know people in that situation where they just cannot be together, but they were kind of made for each other and they love each other so much, and they want to just rip each other’s clothes off, but they get mad at each other.
